On moving to Seattle from Ohio with my family  in 1970; I became involved with and eventually

manager of the Artist Co-op CAHOOTSTUDIO,

in an old former grocery store space by

Green Lake in the Wallingford area of the city.

 

We held group Life Drawing and Painting

sessions there weekly, Film showings monthly

and Open Studio Art Shows about twice a year.

I enjoyed the camaraderie and feedback of

working among my fellow artists and other

local artists for about twenty years.

 

When that dissolved, I found several other

studio spaces over the years, from Pioneer Square to Ballard, in conjunction with my Graphic Design service business.

 

Now retired from the business world,

the lower half of our home is a studio space

I share with my spouse/artist Bob Hutchinson.
